Tune up your gas grill by taking out the burner and poking a stiff wire through the burnet holes. Replace the burner if you see penetrating corrosion or slit seams. Also clear the gas-inlet tubes of cobwebs. Test for leaky gas connections in hoses and fittings by brushing on a 2-to-1 mixture of water and dish soap. If you spot bubbles, there is a leak. Tighten the loose connections; replace damaged hoses or fittings. Paint on the soap mixture again. Also inspect igniter wires for frays; fix them with electrical tape.
